Posing such a great bargain, I thought I'd give Aldi's Reka Fitness Massage Gun a try, to see if the price tag affected the quality.

Is it worth buying Aldi's new massage gun?
Being a cricketer, frequent gym-goer, and runner, I am constantly dealing with tight muscles that no amount of stretching can fix.
I have always been curious to try a massage gun to see if it would assist in releasing my tight muscles and prevent an expensive trip to my local physio.
So when Aldi released their Reka Fitness massage gun, at an affordable price, I jumped at the chance to give it a try.
And I can safely say it is a game-changer.
I stuck mainly to using the ball head, which it recommends for "large muscle groups", and focusing on my leg muscles, as that is where I tend to experience the most tightness.
Aldi's new massage gun is a game-changer for me. (Image: Patrick Glover) I found it to be a great recovery tool, after cricket or a heavy workout at the gym, but also ideal to warm up tired or tight muscles before exercise.
I have struggled over recent months with a sore groin, which has hampered me when playing cricket.
But since using Aldi's massage gun, coupled with a bit of Voltarol cream, it is starting to feel much better.
I have found myself in recent weeks back to performing the way I was before my groin injury.
How to live longer
The massage gun is lightweight, easy to use , and has an incredible battery life. I have had it for around two weeks now and haven't charged it once, depsite using it most days.
It has a wide range of speeds, allowing you to control your massage experience even further, and it isn't too noisy.
The extra heads mean you can choose the right fitting for the area of your body you want to focus on.
