Did you know, there is a secret code in Aldi that will tell you if a product is about to be discontinued?
There is nothing worse than heading into your local supermarket and finding your favourite product has been removed from shelves for good.
Aldi has discontinued a range of products in 2025, including:
- Very Berry Muesli
- Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar
- Yeasty Flavour Snackrite Mighty Crisps
- Savour Bakes Water Biscuits
Discontinued UK chocolates and sweets
These axed products follow the likes of its Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf and Moser Roth Vegan Blonde chocolate bar (100g), described as "literally the best chocolate ever", which were discontinued in 2024.
The "secret code" in Aldi which will tell you if an item is being discontinued
Now "Britain’s Coupon King", aka Jordon Cox, who you may have seen on ITV's This Morning, has revealed there is a way to prepare and stock up on a product before it is discontinued.
All you need to do is look for the "secret code" on digital pricing labels in-store.
Cox explains: "On the digital pricing labels, if you see an upper case ‘D’ in the top right corner - that stands for ‘Discontinued’.
"Once those items are sold out, they won’t be stocked - so pick it up if it’s something you want. It ain’t coming back!
"Keep an eye out for it while you’re shopping! It might just save you!"
