Quartet chasing final spots at Harlow

West Ham BC’s Tony O’Brien moved smoothly through the National CYP quarters-finals at Harlow on Sunday after outpointing Hillcrest BC rival Callum Peploe.

O’Brien took command of the Class A 66kg clash, landing the more accurate shots from the start as he built up a lead to progress with a unanimous verdict.

He will be joined in the semi-finals at the same venue this weekend by a trio of clubmates in Viddal Riley, Patrick Connors and Michael Cash who all received walkover wins.

On a busy weekend for the Hammers, Albert Moughton, Bradley Stone, Charlie Power and new boy Charlie Biggs put good wins on their records, while Kenza Buckley and John Bradley Maughan lost narrow verdicts.
