Betting guru Victor Chandler goes through this week’s best bets for West Ham, Orient and the Daggers

DID Avram Grant do enough to hold on to his job at Blackburn last week? Probably not, and he has another difficult fixture to overcome at Craven Cottage on Boxing Day.

It’s difficult, because Fulham are struggling as much as the Hammers and if Avram Grant comes back empty handed from this one, then it could well be his last game in charge.

Two days later they play Everton at Upton Park. Grant is now 4/9 to be the next Premier League manager to go.

West Ham though are a tasty price at Fulham. We are 3/1 that they win, and that may well tempt some. The Hammers fought back well to get a point at Blackburn.

Leyton Orient and The Daggers both have home matches. The O’s entertain MK Dons and they must fancy their chances. They are around 5/4 which is great value.

Dagenham have a much tougher game against the league leaders Brighton, and even at 3/1 they might not be a tempting bet.

But the draw does appeal at 12/5. Brighton are struggling to find form at the moment and they could be vulnerable.

There is also no doubt that John Still will relish the challenge. I recommend you get on!

Bet of the week: Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea – 10/1.
