Billy Joe Saunders, the unbeaten TKO Gym fighter, could warm up for his Southern Area title clash with Gary Boulden at Wembley on November 5 with a contest at Liverpool on Saturday night.
Saunders, undefeated in nine fights, is named against a selected rival on the Frank Warren promotion – headed by Nathan Cleverly’s world title defence with Liverpudlian Tony Bellew at the Echo Area.
He is due to bid for his first pro title with a Southern Area title clash against Boulden on the Wembley bill, which features George Groves v Paul Smith and Ricky Burns v Michael Katsidis.
A heavyweight clash at Wembley is due to feature local giant Larry Olubamiwo against Dereck Chisora.
Meanwhile, former world amateur champion Frankie Gavin, who recently joined Saunders at the TKO Gym training under Jimmy and Mark Tibbs, is set for title action in Manchester on October 28.
He faces French challenger Frank Haroche Horta for the WBO Inter-Continental welterweight title at the Bowlers International Centre.
