The team are back to discuss another week in east London football

West Ham United return home on Saturday in their quest for a first Premier League win of the season as they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the London Stadium.

The Hammers did beat Wimbledon 3-1 in the Carabao Cup second round on Tuesday night, but Manuel Pellegrini’s men lost 3-1 in the league at Arsenal last Saturday.

In the Vanarama National League, Leyton Orient’s unbeaten start to the term faces two tests this week, with a trip to Chesterfield on Saturday followed by a home game against Solihull Moors on Monday.

The O’s beat Dover Athletic 3-0 on Monday after drawing 1-1 away to Gateshead on Saturday.

Divisional rivals Dagenham & Redbridge are also in action twice this week as they welcome Salford City on Saturday, before entertaining Braintree Town on Tuesday.

Daggers lost 2-1 at Barnet on Monday, which is the same scoreline by which Peter Taylor’s men were beaten at home to Hartlepool United last Saturday.

All this, plus the latest from the Bostik Premier and below, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.
