Over in Group One, it was St Antony’s who led the way from Aldersbrook, Langdon and Roman Road as St Joachim’s narrowly missed out on a spot in the second round.
In the quarter-finals, St Helen’s continued their impressive form as they beat Roman Road while St Antony’s eased past Brampton.
Sandringham made it through to the final four as they saw off Langdon while Cleveland needed a sudden-death shootout to see off Aldersbrook.
St Helen’s reached the final with a 5-2 success against Cleveland while Sandringham upset the odds in another sudden-death shootout to beat the previously unbeaten St Antony’s.
Cleveland took bronze after beating St Antony’s in the third-place playoff, which was another game which was decided by a sudden-death shootout.
But there was no such need for it in the final as St Helen’s ran out comfortable 11-4 victors against Sandringham to lift the title.
