Five Newham schools take part in Quad Kids Competition

St Francis were crowned champions at the KS1 year one and two Quad Kids Competition staged by Langdon Academy Sport Partnership.

The runners-up were St Joachim’s who bagged themselves 1,666 points on the afternoon, but that was 91 points short on the winners, who scored 1,757.

St Edward’s were third with 1,636 after boys and girls took part in track and field events throughout the day.

Langdon were fourth scoring 1,503 and rounding up the competition was Nelson who finished in fifth place with 1,444 points during the competition.

The winners had three of the top five scorers in both the boys and girls, with St Joachim’s, Langdon and Nelson also getting at least one competitor amongst the top scorers.

The event was one of a number of Langdon Academy Sport Partnership competitions held recently.
