Six Newham schools take part in Quad Kids Competition.

St Edward’s were crowned champions at the KS2 year five and six Quad Kids Competition staged by Langdon Academy Sport Partnership.

The runners-up were St Francis who bagged themselves 1,615 points on the afternoon, but that was 190 points short on the winners, who scored 1,805.

Carpenters were third with 1,552 after boys and girls took part in track and field events throughout the day.

Scott Wilkie were fourth scoring 1,537 and rounding up the competition was Essex who finished in fifth place with 1,527 and Hallsville in sixth with 1,386 points during the competition.

The winners had three of the top six scorers across the boys and girls categories, with Essex, Capenters and Scott Wilkie also getting at least one competitor amongst the top scorers.
