Sandringham Primary produced a slam dunk at the Langdon Academy Sport Partnership’s KS2 year five-six boys’ basketball competition.

They beat Nelson (6-0) in their first match, then saw off St Joachim’s (8-0), before a 2-2 draw with St Francis to top their group.

St Antony’s beat St Luke’s (10-0) and St Edward’s (7-0) in the other three-team group and then edged past St Francis (6-4) in their semi-final.

Sandringham saw off St Luke’s by a 7-0 margin to reach the final, then held off St Antony’s for a 4-3 win to claim the cup.

St Francis beat St Luke’s 10-0 in the third-place play-off.
