Newham Swords took a total of three shields, one trophy, six medals and the best club award at the Newham Junior Series Event at UEL SportsDock at the weekend.

England international Benjamin Urdzal won the under-16 boys’ event, as well as the overall series, and Great Britain under-17 international and British Youth champion Amanda Mond took the under-16 girls’ prize.

GB under-20 International and under-23 National champion Emilija Lukaite won overall series honours for the under-16 girls, while GB under-17 international Teagan Williams-Stewart won the under-14 girls’ event and series prize.

Completing the impressive Newham haul in the under-10 boys’ category were Tomi Fric and Miku Archer, who took silver and bronze respectively.
