The Vets had won the last three meetings and proved too strong again, running out 80-30 winners.

Rasheel Bhopla, Laura Taylor-Burge, Wendy Dorviis, Chelsy Honeyghan, Raz Freeman, Louise Francis, Rashmi Bhopla and Verena Mitschelson gave their all for Greens in defeat.

But clubmates Amanda Newton, Stacey Collins, Steph Miller, Karen Turner, Skye Pulse, Sharon Boyce and Colette Corbin had too much and their win ensured a second-place finish and promotion.

OPA Whites faced leaders Sapphire, seeking a win for promotion of their own.

But despite the efforts of Rashmi Bhopla, Hannah Gillot, Jess Smith, Verena Mitschelson, Bisi Owalabi, Delphina Thomas and Jenny McLeod they fell to a 36-28 loss, before hearing that Marshalls Pink had lost and they would go up a division.
