Miranda Carter returns to York Hall with another Sunday show this weekend, offering the chance to TKO Gym fighter Nathan Weise to record the best win of his pro career.

Former West Ham amateur Weise faces Ryan Toms, who suffered his first defeat in 10 bouts when he lost his Southern Area light-middleweight title to Steve O’Meara in the same ring in September.

Brett Callaghan, Bobby George and Danny Connor are also featured on the undercard of the usual crowded bill staged by Miranda’s Left Jab Promotions.

Also appearing on the supporting bill are debut boxers Josh Thorn, Scott Harley and Rydas Vaivads.

■ Peacock BC stage their dinner show tournament at Woolston Manor, Chigwell, on Friday with 10 home club boxers matched against visiting opposition on the night.

■ Newham BC’s Alf Meaghan went down to a points defeat against Tony Emmins (Berry Boys) at Hoddesden and clubmate Dean Dunning was outpointed by John Healy (Chalvedon).
