Midnight Madness​ annually search all corners of the UK for the best of British basketball talent to provide players with life-changing opportunities each year, taking them around the world to compete in top-level international competitions.

These competitions often open doors for British players to launch professional careers in Europe and America, and Midnight Madness have succeeded in helping over 200 players turn pro over the last 15 years.

This year, Midnight Madness is back and will be bigger and better with five qualifier rounds in Birmingham, Newcastle, Loughborough, Manchester and London.

The annual British basketball competition will be visiting London on August 15 at the Copper Box Arena, Olympic Park, London, E20 3HB from 10am-8pm.

The rewards for playing at Midnight Madness are high.

Winners of the competition are provided with the chance to play in international tournaments to represent the UK, and put British basketball on the map.

Romford’s Dave Ajumobi is excited for this year’s competition, after travelling with Midnight Madness to play in Paris’ Quai 54 World Streetball Championship and Germany’s Reality Check tournament.

Ajumobi knows all too well the opportunities that Midnight Madness holds and said: “This summer has been one of the best so far!

“Having travelled as part of the Midnight Madness travel team to Paris and Germany has been an eye opening experience.

“Playing against tough competition abroad is every basketball players’ dream. Since Midnight Madness is free and available to everyone, it’s a must that players all over the UK sign up to show and prove their skills in this year’s London qualifier.”

This year’s London qualifier will showcase the best in UK basketball talent and the Midnight Madness Final Night on August 28 will have the best in hoops and entertainment, including the World Class Dunk Competition.
