London Tang Soo Do members had plenty of success at the Regional Championships in Ebbw Vale, Wales at the weekend.

Competitors took part in three categories, including weapons, hyungs (patterned form) and fighting.

And the London club, with members from Beckton, Canning Town and Leyton, won a total of 88 trophies, of which more than 40 were for first place.

Iesa Saeed proved the star of the show, winning three first-place prizes to be crowned junior grand champion and master Rommel Bernarte said: “This was our last tournament of the year. All of the students worked hard in preparation for this competition, training four or five times per week.

“Their commitment and dedication has been rewarded and are fully deserved. I am very proud of them all.”
