Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show comes to London
London’s ExCel Centre is preparing to host the UK’s largest Outdoor and Adventure show next month (February 11-14).
Whether passionate about walking, climbing, hiking, photography, adventure travel or extreme challenges the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show promises to be fun-filled day out for the whole family to enjoy.
With a variety of activities going on across the whole weekend and falling on the weekend of February half-term, the show is a perfect outlet for kids to explore their inner adventurers.
Animal Man Nick Spellman will be at the show to introduce children and adults alike to some fantastic live species and children will have the chance to volunteer and assist Spellman on stage and be lucky enough to handle a tarantula, snake or even a skunk!
One of the very best entertainers in London, Spellman will provide a unique insight into an array of fascinating wildlife.
As well as getting up close and personal with exotic animals, kids will also get a chance to try their hand at rock climbing with a specially designed kid’s climbing wall. Free to try, the wall allows younger children to have a go at climbing in a safe and fun environment.
A ticket to the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show also admits entry to The London Bike Show and Triathlon Show: London, powered by Honda, which are all running simultaneously. Under-12s can try out the latest range of bikes on the Kids Test Track.
Take advantage of the advice and guidance from the experts on hand and ensure you get the right bike so that your child can make the most of their new wheels.
If the children in your life prefer their bikes a bit faster, they can head over to the Triathlon Show to the ‘My First Honda Licence’ area and take to the track.
Always a very popular attraction at events the motorcycle experience is especially for children aged 5-11 and offers the fun of riding a restricted 50cc motorcycle in complete safety on a specially-designed course with experienced instructors teaching youngsters the basics.
The UK’s most exciting freestyle mountain bike competition, Air To The Throne, will be featuring 30 of the world’s best battling against each other to inspire and amaze the crowds.
Along with the Radon Pump Battle and the Street Velodrome being open for the public to try, there really is something for everyone.
Family tickets are available and children under eight gain free entry to the show. For more information and to buy tickets visit telegraphoutdoorshow.co.uk.
