Hackney Wick are set to host Enfield tonight ahead of a trip away to Stansted on Saturday – but it all depends on the weather!

Wick survived the cold snap to host FC Romania at the weekend but fell to their third straight defeat in the Essex Senior League, thumped 6-1 by the high-flyers.

Other fixtures were also called off at the weekend and on Monday evening due to snow falling across east London and Essex, with low temperatures putting more games in doubt.

Wick looked to get off to a decent start on Saturday until Florin Pop netted for the visitors on 20 minutes.

The lead was doubled six minutes later when Mihai Botosan scored his first of the afternoon and a three-goal cushion was secured before half-time due to an Adrian Balsanu strike.

Pop and Botosan netted again within one minute of each other in the second half with Cosmin Sandu scoring Romania’s sixth.

Andrea Mantovani scored the Hackey Wick consolation.
