West Ham return to Premier League action after the international break with a visit from defending champions Manchester City.

Boss Manuel Pellegrini faces his former club, looking for the Hammers to improve on previous London Stadium meetings with Pep Guardiola’s side, which ended in three heavy defeats.

Meanwhile, West Ham Women are back on home turf at Rush Green and special guest Claire Rafferty talks about their progress in the WSL so far this season.

National League rivals Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge look to build on home wins last time out as they hit the road.

Justin Edinburgh’s O’s took over at the top of the table with a 3-1 win over Bromley at Brisbane Road and travel to north Wales to face title rivals Wrexham, while Peter Taylor’s Daggers came from behind to see off Fylde at Victoria Road and make the short trip to Bromley.

All this, and other matters, are discussed in this week’s East London Football podcast, with host Matt Withers joined by Dave Evans, Jacob Ranson, Liam Coleman and special guest Rafferty.
