St Angela’s Ursuline Schools Wiktoria Fronc has been given an early Christmas present after learning she has been selected for the England under-15 girls football squad.

The Year Nine student took part in a regional England camp recently and did enough to earn an opportunity with the Three Lions in the new year.

Fronc currently plays for Arsenal under-14s and trains four times a week having joined the Gunners three years ago after catching the eye while at Colebrook Royals.

The St Angela’s pupil said: “I have a great passion for football and attending these camps gave me a great boost.

“Next year I’ll be able to play for England under-15s and I’m working hard to achieve my goal of becoming a professional football player.”

St Angela’s, of Forest Gate, said: “Congratulations to Wiktoria who has been selected for England under-15s after taking part in the regional England camp trials.”
