Newham’s Royal Docks under-13 boys football team were beaten 2-1 by King’s in the final of the ESFA PlayStation under-13 Small Schools’ Cup.

In the match at Reading FC’s Madejski Stadium, the Londoners found themselves 2-0 down early in the second half but still have it their all.

Jordan Adeyemi’s delicate chip gave Docks hope of a comeback but they could not find the crucial equaliser before time ran out.

In addition to the match, the school also took part in PlayStation 4 gaming experience and a half-time crossbar challenge.

There were also prize giveaways provided by PlayStation and the pre-match team talks took place in the stadium’s changing rooms.
