Rosetta and St Luke’s pupils shone in the latest Langdon Academy Sport Partnership event as they won their divisions at the KS2 Year Five/Six Football six-a-side football competition.

A total of 12 teams took part and were placed in two divisions of boys and girls, which were divided into two groups of three teams in each.

Rosetta breezed through the boy’s competition by winning their two group games, before beating Sheringham in a shoot-out in the semi-finals, which landed them a spot in the final.

The boys continued their run by beating fellow undefeated side Sandringham 2-1 to land the silverware.

The girls competition wasn’t as plain sailing, as St Luke’s managed a win and a draw in the group stages, before beating off Lathom 4-1 to reach the final.

St Luke’s were comfortably crowned champions with a 3-0 victory over Brampton.
