Leyton Orient midfielder Freddy Moncur has joined Bishop Stortford on a month long loan spell.

The 21-year-old has returned to the National League South outfit for his second spell, having spent 10 weeks with the Blues last season, before being recalled to the O’s first team squad.

Moncur, who had originally been released in the summer before earning himself a new contract, has yet to feature this season.

The youngster made his O’s debut in September 2015 during a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie away to Luton Town.

He made one more appearances for Orient that season, coming on for his home bow against Staines Town in the FA Cup in November.

Moncur then made nine appearances for the O’s last season in their league two relegation battle.

He made his Football League debut in February after being recalled from the Hertfordshire-based club.

The midfielder caught the eye under Danny Webb and gained further opportunities while Omer Riza was in charge.
