Manager Hafiz Ahmed delighted young squad will receive free English, Maths and Science classes ahead of GCSE exams

Manor Youth under-15s have received sponsorship from Forest Gate Tuition Centre ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

The local side, managed by Hafiz Ahmed, will be provided with free English, Maths and Science classes ahead of the players GCSE exams.

Forest Gate Tuition Centre have been impressed with the progress of the Manor Youth team and offered its services to the squad along for free.

Ahmed said: “Obviously with the amount of work we have done as a football club over the past year, we have attracted a lot of recognition and backing from the community and businesses offered us there help wherever necessary.

“The Tuition Centre kindly offered free English, Maths and Science GCSE classes to all our players, this will prove beneficial for the players education as that is their number one priority in their lives at the moment.

“At the same time, they can enjoy their football, but the club takes our players education very seriously as we are guiding the youths towards becoming something and having aspirations to go places and this has made it a lot more easier for us as a club.”

Forest Gate Tuition Centre managing director Yahya Chowdhury said: “We are proud sponsors of Manor Youth FC - a grassroots local football team run by qualified and experienced coaches and volunteers.

“Through sports, Newham’s youth are able to develop themselves as individuals, recognising the important role they each play for the success of their team, we will ensure as well as sports this youths excel in their studies and education as well.”
