Redbridge march on at the top of the Essex Senior League table as they cruised to a 4-1 victory against Sawbridgeworth Town.

A brace from Brian Moses and goals from Martin Tuohy and Eljay Worrell led the Motormen to yet another three points as their incredible run continued at Crofters.

Ricky Eaton’s men have now opened up a five point cushion at the top whilst the Robins, who netted a late consolation in this one thanks to Leon Lewis, are now in 17th.

Tuohy have now left the club after his brief stint to join Bostik North outfit Barking.

Rivals, Ilford had to settle for a share of the spoils against Clapton at the Old Spotted Dog.

The hosts took the lead with a close-range finish from Jeff Cobblah but the Foxes earned a point thanks to a screamer from James Peagram, leaving The Tons in sixth and the Foxes in eighth.

Neighbours, Barkingside fell to yet another defeat, as they lost 2-0 away to high-flying Great Wakering Rovers at Cricklefield Stadium.

Billy Johnson was amongst the goal scorers again as Rovers picked up another three points to remain in third place.

Michael Walther’s men now find themselves sitting 14th in the table.
