Jon Fowell’s team reveal pre-season plans with Thurrock game scheduled

Clapton’s Jerry Jarriette is set to celebrate 10 years at the Old Spotted Dog club by having a testimonial match next month.

The inspiration all-action midfielder will put together an XI that will take on Jon Fowell’s Tons team.

Jarriette’s side will include some former Clapton heroes like Craig Greenwood, Paul Oshin and Fahad Nyanja.

Free-kick specialist James Briggs will also be involved alongside Geoff Ocran and goalkeeper Yakup Seyer.

Supporters are also being approached about turning out for Jarriette’s team for the game on July 8.

Clapton have arranged several other pre-season fixtures. The Tons will host Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Thurrock on Thursday July 13 and Aveley, of the Isthmian League North, will travel to the Old Spotted Dog on July 18.

A team from Barnet Academy will also visit Clapton on July 22 before Brimsdown face the Tons on July 25.
