West Ham United will want to avoid a third Premier League defeat in a row on Saturday when they visit Leicester City.

The Hammers were beaten on their return to action last weekend, with Manuel Pellegrini’s players going down 1-0 at home to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, will hope to put their FA Cup exit behind them when they host Havant & Waterlooville in the Vanarama National League on Tuesday, before visiting Eastleigh on Tuesday night.

The O’s lost 2-0 at Maidstone United in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round last weekend as Justin Edinburgh’s team endured a disappointing afternoon in Kent.

Dagenham & Redbridge boss Peter Taylor, meanwhile, faces a crucial week in the league, with a home game against Harrogate Town on Saturday and a trip to Dover Athletic on Tuesday to come.

A 1-0 FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay defeat to divisional rivals Boreham Wood on Tuesday night increased the pressure on beleaguered boss Taylor.

All this, plus the latest from the Bostik Premier and below, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.
