Michael Walther's team face Ilford while London Bari host Enfield this weekend
Clapton have a busy time ahead as they are set to do a lot of travelling over the next week.
The Tons were meant to visit Coles Park to play Greenhouse Sports last night (Wednesday), but the clash was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Michael Walther’s men are therefore now preparing to face local rivals Ilford on Saturday in the Essex Senior League.
Former player Allan Fenn manages the Foxes so it is bound to be an interesting clash at Cricklefield.
Clapton then have another journey next week as they take on Burnham Ramblers in the League Challenge Cup on Tuesday.
Newham were set to take on local rivals London Bari yesterday desperate for points to move off the bottom of the table.
But that fixture at the Old Spotted Dog couldn’t beat the weather and the match was called off thanks to a waterlogged pitch.
Kevin Lucas and Shamrez Darr’s Newham had dropped to the foot of the division this week after Waltham Forest won at Tower Hamlets on Monday.
That came after they suffered an 8-2 loss to leaders FC Romania on Saturday, despite goals from Charlie Parker and Muhammad Umarji.
Newham were 5-0 down at half time and don’t have a chance to respond until Febuary 6 when they take on Takeley at Chadfields.
Bari were without a game last weekend, but have another home fixtures to prepare for on Saturday.
Chris Davis’ men, after failing to host Newham last night, will welcome struggling Enfield hoping to get the game on.
