Clapton assistant Andre Thomas expects another tough test against Waltham Forest this evening.

The Tons host the Essex Senior League strugglers at the Old Spotted Dog (7.45pm kick-off) and will be looking to get back to winning ways.

“Waltham Forest will be another difficult one,” he said.

“Sadly it seems like teams who have struggled early on always step up when they play us, the table is a false sense of confidence and false indication to how the team is currently performing and I expect that tomorrow from them.”

Thomas also admits they know the opposition will bring a game plan after scouting them in previous matches.

“I know members of their coaching staff come to watch our FA Cup game against Norwich United, so we’ll see what plans they have for us and try to stop them.”

Clapton will most likely make changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s clash.
