Newham maintained their hold on top spot in the Essex County League Premier Division table with a 60-run win at Hawks.
Robin Bansal (23) and Kashif Iqbal (57) got them off to a good start on a hot day, before Wasim Majeed (73) took centre stage.
Captain Sajjad Mirza (44) helped lift the total to 239-7, but Hawks were ahead of the rate at one point in reply.
Spinner Amit Midha turned the game towards Newham, though, with a superb 5-28 haul, as Majeed (2-24) nabbed a brace to help seal victory.
The seconds turned the tables on Hamilton Lions, after losing to them a week earlier, with a 55-run victory.
Atesaam Syed’s brilliant 87 and Imran Mohammed’s quickfire 50 off 39 balls gave them an excellent start, with Qamar Qureshi adding an unbeaten 73 as the home side reached 280-5
Newham knew they had to work hard, having seen Hamilton Lions chase down a target a week earlier, and they took two key wickets early on.
Good bowling and fielding kept Newham on top, with Syed (3-35) and Qureshi (3-43) the pick of the attack.
The thirds travelled to Grays seconds and, after a slow start, managed to reach 264-7, as Hasnain Naeem (80) and Narsing Manchallawar (60 not out) led the way.
Muhammad Aamir (27) and Sheryar Baig (32 not out) also chipped in and Grays lost early wickets in reply, but kept the run rate up with Abdul Mohaimen (80) playing a good attacking innings.
Nafi Ahmed (2-31) and Tabish Mahmood (2-41) nabbed braces for Newham, but could not prevent the hosts claiming a three-wicket win in the 35th over.
