Plenty going on at Flanders Field in coming weeks for all different age groups

For the first time since the days of Graham Gooch and Nasser Hussain, top class cricket returns to Newham.

As part of the Mayor’s Cricket Festival on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 August, Newham Cricket Club at Flanders Field in East Ham will host a match between an East London XI and the Essex Development XI. The annual Mayor’s XI v a Newham XI will be in the afternoon.

Starting at 11am, the East London Match will be 50 overs each - finishing at approximately 6.30pm.

All are welcome (but please bring your own chairs!) The entrance to the ground is at the south end of Napier Road off the Barking Road.

There will be colts’ coaching and matches between 11am. All under-11s are welcome. Kit will be provided - there will be no charge.
