East Ham Active are putting on free sessions to encourage over 50s back to sport
East Ham Active are inviting all cricket lovers over 50 to make a comeback and enjoy six free sessions this summer, starting from July 14.
Players of all standards are welcome to take part in the free sessions, which take place at Flanders Field Recreation Ground every Tuesday from 6-8pm.
There is no need to book the sessions, nor is a long-term commitment required, and those interested are invited to turn up and play.
Cricket whites are not required, but trainers and a willingness to get involved are.
On August 11, there will be an exhibition match against a Newham Select XI.
All of the free sessions have been funded by Sport England. For more information check out www.bonnydowns.org/sports or call 0208586 7070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
