Sport England fund Thursday evening sessions

East Ham Active are launching free cricket in East Ham for players of all standards, including complete beginners.

Women are particularly welcome and all players must be at least 14 years old for the sessions, which will take place at Flanders Field Recreation Ground, Napier Road, East Ham E6 2SG

Full cricket whites are not required, just trainers and a willingness to give cricket a go.

The popular ‘Tape ball’ cricket will be played which uses a ball that isn’t as hard as the traditional cricket ball.

The sessions will be every Thursday starting at 6.30pm on April 16 and players can just turn up and play, with no need to register or commit to long term attendance.

The sessions are totally free thanks to funding by Sport England and for more information see bonnydowns.org/sports, call 0208 586 7070 or email sports@bonnydowns.org.
