London Senior Cup: Erith Town 4 Clapton 4 (3-4 penalties)
Clapton progressed into the quarter-finals of the London Senior Cup as they secured a penalty shoot-out win against Erith Town.
The 10-men Tons battled back to make it 4-4 and send the game into penalties where they won 4-3 against the Southern Counties East League Premier Division at the Erith Sports Stadium.
They will now face either Tooting & Mitcham or Harrow Borough in their quarter-final tie.
Defender Dylan Ebengo tweeted after the match: “What a win in the London cup, longest 120 minutes I’ve played, especially when you go down to 10 men in the 80th minute and are 4-3 down in extra time with two minutes to go.
