Errington Challenge Cup: Clapton 1 Enfield 0
Clapton progressed through to the quarter-final of the Errington Challenge Cup after nabbing a 1-0 win against Enfield.
The Tons will now have to await their next opponets after sealing the win at Aveley’s ground Parkside due to the Old Spotted Dog currently undergoing pitch improvements.
They will return to Essex Senior League action on Tuesday evening when they host St Margaretsbury.
Manager Jonny Fowell tweeted after the match: “What a boring game today, I think both teams where half asleep with an 11 30am kick-off.
