Teacher Rob Cooper full of praise for Cumberland Sports Partnership after running event at Eastlea Community School

Calverton Primary School managed to beat 24 other teams to win the Newham Dance Mats competition recently.

Cumberland Sports Partnership ran the event at Eastlea Community School based in Canning Town.

Calverton took two teams to the event with only 10 progressing to the finals and both of Calverton’s teams making it through.

In the final, Calverton’s A team won the overall competition with Hallsville finishing in second place.

Calverton’s B team also managed to impressed and earned a mightily impressive third place finish.

Rob Cooper, a teacher from Calverton, said: “The competition was very well run by Cumberland Sports Partnership and I’d like to thank them for all their efforts.”
