After going behind with just two minutes played, AC fought back to earn comfortable 5-1 victory

Benjamin Tagoe hit a hat-trick for AC Milano to help defeat Debden Sports 5-1 in the Essex Combinations League Cup Group fixture.

Although it was an emphatic victory for the hosts in the end, it was the visitors who took the lead after two minutes following a corner.

Tagoe levelled it up before Bilal Bapu headed home at the back post to put Milano 2-1 up and in the ascendancy.

Bapu had only got back from his honeymoon on the morning of the game, yet still attended the cup clash.

After failing to score before half time, Milano made a slow start following the break and Debden were dominating possession.

The clinical finishing off Tagoe put the game to bed, however, with the forward netting twice to complete his treble.

Once again the visitors pushed to reduce the deficit and Eshan Afazal was kept busy in the Milano goal.

The home team had the final say when Urfat Hussain went through on goal and fired into the corner to complete the rout.

Tagoe took the plaudits for his hat-trick, yet it was an excellent teal display with the back four impressing.
