Guides helped visually impaired runners around 5k and 10k routes in the annual RNIB blindfold run on the Olympic Park, with some setting personal bests.

Other members helped to celebrate the 400th staging of the Wanstead Flats parkrun, while Ivaylo Enchev (1:44.36) and Sayeed Haq (1:34.34) ran the Knebworth half marathon.

Frank Da Silva, meanwhile, clocked 57.08 at the Fulham 10k. The club trains four times a week and more information is available on their website at runvt.org.uk.
