Held in aid of men’s health charity Movember, the event saw athletes storm up and down steep hills, with Sarah Stack and Nuray Shoukri making their club debuts.

Meanwhile, chairman Jamie Zucker completed the San Sebastian half marathon in much warmer temperatures.

Viewtube Runners were pleased to finally start training on the newly opened London Marathon Community Track at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park last week.

And any locals interested in joining them for a free session – which are held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings (7pm) or Sunday mornings (9am) – can get in touch through email at

Preparations are now underway for the 2018 London Marathon and other spring marathons for those needing long-run training.
