East End Road Runners headed north to Boston, Lincolnshire to take part in full and half marathons at the weekend.

A party of 16 made the trip, with a personal best over 26.2 miles for Remi Kubar (3:43).

Callum Millward (1:40), Charissa Taylor (1:49) and Sarah Bemand (1:49) also set personal bests over 13.1 miles, with other club members in support.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Seth and Tess Healey participated in the Australian Running Festival Canberra, at 10k and half marathon respectively.

Runners also volunteered at a memorial run for club member Sarah Hammond, who died in a tragic accident in August 1997, aged 24.

The annual 5k event is held as a means for friends and family to remember her in a happy way, celebrate her sporting life, and help raise money for a charity close to her heart.
