West Ham United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2023/24 season, which is available to pre-order now and in stores from Saturday July 29.

This year’s strip is a classic, elegant all-white outfit with subtle flashes of claret and blue with club crest and logo of sportswear partner Umbro both iridescent, enhancing the simple design of the new kit.

The 2023/24 away kit launch explores the origin story of the West Ham Way style of play and the legends it has created in our history.

A pioneering style of play designed in Cassettari’s Cafe on Barking Road near the old Boleyn Ground in the 1950s, the ideals of former manager Ted Fenton, along with influential, forward-thinking players such as Malcolm Allison, Noel Cantwell and John Bond, gave birth to the Academy of Football and created a playing style synonymous with the club.

The launch video - set in an art studio in Trinity Buoy Wharf near the site of the original Thames Ironworks - features international stars Lucas Paquetá, Nayef Aguerd and Emerson, UEFA Europa Conference League final and semi-final goalscorers Saïd Benrahma and Pablo Fornals, Academy graduates Ben Johnson and Divin Mubama, and women’s team players Halle Houssein and Mel Filis.

Making a guest appearance is Roberta Moore, daughter of West Ham United and England legend Bobby Moore.

The origin story is narrated by Hollywood star and Hammers fan Ray Winstone who takes the viewer through the tale.

He says: “A new season awaits. A blank canvas. So let us paint you a picture. An East End approach. A pioneering style of play fashioned in Cassettari's Cafe.

“Shape, movement and tactics that may be a little abstract. This art form built the Academy of Football. Hard graft, with a touch of flair. Never giving up.

“From legends past to present winners. Picasso wouldn’t understand - but Pablo does.

“This is our style. This is our craft. This is the West Ham Way.”
