After eight years away, we've finally made it back to where we belong - League One.

As a Leyton Orient fan, some of my fondest memories come from our time in this league, including the highs and lows of the play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

What a season! It ended in heartbreak, but still remains a strong moment in supporting the club, and we have the chance to be back amongst some huge clubs.

That was my favourite part about League One - coming up against the likes of Leeds United, Wolves, Southampton, Nottingham Forest and many others.

This campaign will go down in history just like that campaign and the National League title-winning season, along with plenty of ups and downs along the way to all of those successful campaigns.

It’s been a dominant campaign, having been top of the league table for the majority of the season, and all I have personally cared about is finishing the job and getting promoted, which we now have.

Richie Wellens has been a huge success and really guided the O’s forward, as even when the team doesn’t play well they seem to get a result or nick a draw, and we all know the key for success in League Two is consistency.

Many players could gain plaudits for their efforts but you have to put Lawrence Vigouroux on a pedestal for breaking the record for the club’s most clean sheets in a season with 23 and still counting.

Since his arrival, the Chilean shot-stopper has been outstanding and is arguably too good for this level, and I think that has been proven.

Another who deserves a mention is Paul Smyth, the magician. He can turn a game on its head with his class and has often proven to be a match winner.

Overall, it has been another season for the history books, but I for one am happy to see the back of League Two.
