Polling stations across the borough have opened this morning as Newham looks to elect two MPs.

Candidates vying to represent East Ham and West Ham constituencies have spent weeks campaigning for your votes and today is your time to decide who you want to take a seat in Westminster.

Polling stations for the general election will be open until 10pm tonight, after which the ballot boxes will be carried to Lee Valley VeloPark and the votes counted.

A by-election is also taking place in Stratford and New Town ward.

Results for all three ballots are expected to be announced in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
