Hundreds of people got into the festive spirit at a special Winter Fair on Saturday.

The yuletide extravaganza at Beckton’s Globe Library, in Kingsford Way, featured arts and crafts for people of all ages plus a host of musical performances.

Children had the opportunity to make their own Christmas presents in loom band workshops while cupcake-decorating masterclasses proved a hit with people young and old.

Bands, choirs and gymnasts performed outside while Father Christmas also stopped-by ahead of his big night.
