A car park at the ExCeL exhibition centre gave young drivers the chance to improve their skills in a training scheme run by Ford.
The car maker ran a free Driving Skills for Life programme in Custom House on Friday (Oct 11) with the aim of saving the lives of young drivers aged between 17 and 24 by giving them access to on the road training.
The programme concentrated on hazard recognition, vehicle handling, speed/space management and distractions – identified as the leading causes of accidents in this age category.
Since Ford launched the scheme more than 250 young drivers have registered their interest at www.fordDSFL.co.uk.
