Service has now resumed on the Woolwich Ferry after it was suspended due to weather conditions.
Commuters were being told to take alternative routes after the service which runs between Woolwich in South East London and North Woolwich was cancelled earlier this morning.
Traffic for London confirmed the reason was due to foggy weather on the Thames.
