Samantha Cameron and Myleene Klass were at Westfield Stratford City last week to launch a Christmas pop-up event.

They helped children from Manorfield School design their own Christmas jumpers at Woolly Wonderland.

The pop-up is run by Save the Children to encourage people to take part in the charity’s Christmas Jumper Day, which takes place on Friday.

It will remain at the centre until December 13 and contains customisation stations, knitting workshops, storytelling and a photo booth.

Alex Byzak, a teacher at Manorfield School, said: “The pupils that joined Samantha Cameron and Myleene Klass today at the Woolly Wonderland workshop at Westfield Stratford City were over the moon – I think they’ll be washing glitter out of their hair for weeks!”
