A 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital after been hit by a car in Romford Road, Manor Park.
The accident happened between Fifth and Sixth avenues at 10.55am today.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Newham Hospital, not as a priority, suggesting her injuries were not life threatening.
Romford Road westbound was partly blocked and police were controlling traffic. .
