A woman wept in court today as she denied murdering a pensioner.
The 31-year-old, who we are choosing not to name, pleaded not guilty during the plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey.
Mike Pleasted, 77, died after being stabbed in the chest in his flat in Drew Road, North Woolwich, last November.
A trial date has been set for May 11. The woman remains in custody.
