COLCHESTER Zoo’s Shriek Week is guaranteed to be full of ghoulish fun with a great schedule of events, including a range of special shows, displays and competitions.

The Recorder is offering readers the chance to win three family tickets to Shriek Week from Saturday, October 23 until Halloween on Sunday, October 31, with three special late nights taking place on the Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for those who dare to stay out.

The late nights will include extra activities after dark, including a spooky road train, ghost walks around the All Saints Church ruins, as well as the chance to see some of the animals, including tigers and aardvarks, at night!

Visitors during the day will be able to enjoy a walk through the Haunted Forest from noon until 4pm, as well as Merlin’s Magical Fancy Dress party and a range of Halloween-themed displays throughout the week such as a Grimm Tale at the Wild About Animals Theatre. With all this to enjoy make sure you don’t miss all the scary fun at Colchester Zoo this Halloween, you’d be a ghoul to miss out.
