Hollywood actor Will Smith will kick off a football festival with his son Jaden at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday.

The Men in Black star will step on to the pitch in Stratford with superstar footballers Luis Figo, Gianfranco Zola, and Steve McManaman at UEFA Champions Festival from 11.30am.

The free event, which opened today until Sunday, is a four-day celebration of the beautiful game featuring a number of family-friendly activities.

Will and Jaden will greet crowds before helping to warm up the goalkeeprs with a penalty shoot-out.

They are in London to promote the release of their forthcoming film “After Earth” in cinemas from June 7.
